It's a beautiful thing
When your heart opens
Up to the emotions
Locked in your soul.
A breathless moment
To know you are
Still alive and
You can feel it.
It's a beautiful thought
To know that you
Have pulled down that
Wall that keeps others out.
A chance to become
Who you truly are,
To live as you are meant to
For the sake of someone else.
It's a beautiful feeling
To know that when
You open yourself up
The doors no longer exist.
A silent promise from
Long ago may
Have just been kept
To show the heart entirely.
It is a beautiful moment
When you feel the mask
Slip from it's place
To show the one within.
A mask once worn,
Now cracks, showing
The intensity of the
Soul who resides within.
