Writing the words
Seeing the story
That plays out
In my head...

The story plays
Out in my head,
An adventure
From far away.

A hero comes forth,
A heroine shows
Her courage for
The world to cheer.

It's a start,
I begins with
A single word to
Help us escape.

I will tell you my tale
And give you a moment
To escape into worlds
Beyond this cold place.

Writing the words
Comes naturally to me
I can't wait to begin
This gift for all of you.
