A Gaurdian's Words

I will protect you in this lifetime,
This I vow.
Never fear the darkness,
Because I am here.
I will not let harm come to you,
For I am your gaurdian.
I will stand before you always.

I have been here since time began,
And will always be.
You are my reason to continue.

I stand ready...
Ready to do my duty to you.
I promise to be the sword in your defense.
I will guide you gently forward.
The prayers I send will be for you.
