When The Dawn Comes

When the dawn comes,
I will spread my wings and
Fly over a horizon far away.
Beyond everything,
I will find a place in this world
By the light of day to rest
My heart and soul never
To return to what I gave up
In the early mists of healing.

When the dawn comes
I will know that what has
Been broken will then be healed.
A heart is now mended,
The soul free to fly beyond heaven.
Ready to leave all behind in
A bid for true freedom and light.

When the dawn comes,
A new resolution is in my heart
And I will know what must be.
I am ready for that moment to arrive.
Power will reign in me once more
As I fly away from everything that
Once caused pain and sadness in me.
I will be ready to begin living a new day.
