Whispers by Gaston L'Montaigne& Raven
In dreams he comes to me,
In the light of the moon
I see him and joy floods my soul,
Ending the loneliness there.
I feel him whisper my name
On a cheek,
As his kiss descends
To that place behind my ear, his haven.
His name immediately lost
In the halls of my subconscious.
With warm tender lips
He kisses away the
Salty evidence of
Sadness away.
Tender lips and tender kisses
Will you stay with me?
You take your place in carnal form
Yet you do not stay with me.
Stay with me and hold my hand
Talk with me for a while
Stay in the light of the sun.
I wake to the sun's early glow
Through morning mists,
And in loneliness I cry
For he is only an illusion
Created within dreams.
Yet as I know this,
I know he will be waiting
With his promis of joyful union.
