I once danced in the rain for you

And you danced with me there.

I cried in the light of the moon
When my heart bled from the sword
And you silently slew the demon.

I broke through gilded cages
Made from the cruelty of others
And you grabbed my hand.

I danced as the Fae 
In my own realms,
And you waited for me.

I walked from one life
Into the next searching for you
And there you always were.

I reached out my arms for you
Needing your touch,
And your love guided me home.
